McCall 4531

Look at this little beauty. Her cute little smock complete with transfer. She looks so cute with the yummy plate of cookies. This is the lovely addition to my collection. Could not find a date anywhere.

Fabric/Textile mail art envelopes....

Has anyone read the current issue of "Inspirations" #60 lately. I love the article about mail art using fabric personalized envelopes. In case you haven't read it I scanned it from my magazine for you down below. I just think it is awsome! What an awsome way to send mail amongst my favorite Fabric/Textile ATC's, postcards, inches and such, and what a clever way to show off your needlwork expertise.

If you are a member of Swap-Bot.com and in the Fabric/Textile cards group as well drop a line in the forum or here if you like, and mention if you would like to do a swap like this, dont forget to mention a theme your interested in!

1930's Sewing Patterns

I am very excited, my search is over. McCall 6408 is finally in my pocession! I have been scoping this pattern out for like two years now and I finally won it in an Ebay lot among other 30's patterns. It is just all to perfect, just look at those stripes and those flowers. One day I will make this when I'm done with pharmacy school and learn to sew professionally. A question though, I noticed the instructions are gone or these must have them printed on the pattern peices themselves. If you know please send me a message, I only have three patterns that look like this and the instructions all seem to be missing, but I think I'm looking wrong.
